Fatal Error-Installed Modules -Installed Update

I am getting the following error. I had first installed modules such as integrated chat etc. My board comes from Fantastico. When the module installations created a version error I tried upgrading as it directed. I lost the entire display of the board at one point then eventually got the main face of the board up by using a back up. Now I can't get to any of the existing posts. Anyone have any idea how I can fix this???

Run this query in phpMyAdmin, then check the error log again:

#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax.  Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

I only just learned where phpMyAdmin was last night.  What do I need to do now?

Looks like you mis-typed that and put a " in place of a '... Try it again
