converter script did not convert user groups or forum section permissions.

I converted from mybb to smf and it reported that everything was converted corrected. but it did not convert user groups or forum section permissions. I don't wish to do this manually as it takes too long especially on a large board. Any way to fix this please?

I have never attempted converting from mybb, so I am not going to be much help to you at all.
I have asked for help from those who might know more than I do.

Well, unfortunately it has really not implemented. So no, membergroups and board permissions are not converted.

The reason behind this has to do with the specifics of the original software. In each case, there are different ways to implement both the membergroups (and, above all, how they work!) and the board access mechanism. We are not specialists in other forum software, so our converter only deals with the necessary information for the new forum to work, while maintaining the most important thing: the content!

You guys are are exceptionally polite. I wish i started with smf to begin with. I will try another test conversation this weekend. If I run into difficulties setting permissions on forum sections, I will ask for hints or instructions here. Thank you very much

Good luck recreating board and member permissions.  I hope some other former MyBB users will be able to offer you some tips in making the mental transition to the SMF software.
