The DDC Network - Where worlds apart come together

About my site: This is a new site I am building that will be centered around movie and game reviews.
It uses the BR Finale 2011 theme by, Crip with some minor edits. All text icons are original. The Valentine header was something I put together for the holiday. The sun logo is a edit of an existing image. I am still in the early stages of building and designing the site.

Just looking for general feedback on the overall layout and design.



My main concerns:
- Is it easy to read
- Overall color scheme
- Do the colors clash or appear hard on the eyes
- Does it appear too busy

I am aware that it does not display properly in IE. I guess you have to pick and choose your battles 

You do not have to register to see the site's content. Registration is only required if you want to post or vote in one of the poles.

I setup OneAll Social Login for Facebook, Twitter and Steam.
