I have just set up a SMF system for hxxp:bfmensshed.org.uk [nonactive]

It works fine locally but when users try from outside my network it is VERY slow and the pages do not render correctly.

When I tried using from another site I noticed that according to firefox it is connecting to 192.168.200.xx  (the local IP address of the server).

I'm sure the solution is simple but I cannot see it.

That has to be something related to your server or firewall config.

If I understand correctly, you are hosting yourself, right? Maybe we should move this to http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=86.0

When I had a quick look at the page sources, half the external addresses linked to 192.168.200.xx while the rest resolved to bfmensshed.org.uk.

Wouldn't this be a job for the repair_settings.php tool?

Yes, probably. I didn't look at the source and that "detail" was pointed to me.
