Time to edit after posting overrides permission setting

Hello,

I had set the permission to delete posts and topics on a certain classified ads category on my board, but have discovered the "Maximum time after posting to allow edit" feature overrides it and members cannot delete their topics/posts after that time has passed.

I don't want to disable the "Maximum time after posting to allow edit" feature or change its time so is there anyway around the problem?

Edit and remove permissions for ordinary members is linked in that to remove a post effectively means you're editing it. So no, there is no permission you can set to change this functionality.

However, you could put in a feature / modification request.
