SMF 2.0 allows you to delete attachments posted more than X days ago.

I think it's more valuable to delete attachments that are no longer needed by the community, i.e. have not been downloaded in X days. Is there a script that can find these files for deletion? I have 25 GB of attachments and would like to pare that down.

Kindred

No. There is no way to track that, as far as I know.

I like that idea

I have attachments that are still valid from 2005 messages and some that rolled off the front page of my most popular board , never to be seen again

It might be a good idea for a mod. But it's not possible to apply it to previously existing files, as the table doesn't store the last download time/date
