This happens to me now and then.
I googled it, but most people have it permanently.
I tried the repair_settings solution, I clicked all recommended items, didn't work.

Can it be my host even though I can still access my homepage which is located at the same host?

yes. it could be your host...   actually, let me rephrase that.  It *IS* your host
