I found the overwrite in filezilla and checked it and uploaded. Nothing again. So, go to filemanager and delete all but the two you just mentioned?

don't touch the avatars or attachments directories either...

and ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS take a backup first before you do anything to the site
