Help in deleting a piece of code

I am tring to delete a blask image box in the upper left corner of my following discussion board:

hxxp:www.tankworkshop.com/forum/index.php [nonactive]

I have tried deleting of changing the lines I thought to be responsible for this blank spot. Any ideas would be apreciated.
