I have a problem I really need it like if there are new posts in a topic/thread There should Be NEW tag on it How to do this ? Im currently USing Escape

One idea would be to check the default theme MessageIndex.template.php file and see if this exists.

Go to Admin - Languages and tell us what characterset is set as the default one?

How do I use FTP? / What is FTP?

Using your ftp client go to your forums themes directory go to the theme go to images then look in the english folder and tell me does new.gif exist?

Can you give us a link to your forum and a test account (not admin)? Firebug helps to find that kind of stuff.
