hmm....best smf templates....

well, im very opinionated, so some people may not agree with me.

First place:

index.template.php.
since it controlls the header, footer, menu, and everything else besides the menu stuff, it's awesome.

second place:

boardindex.template.php
controlls the boards on the page index. naturally this is important. You cant have a totally sick theme without enhancing the boardindex in some way.

third place:

display.template.php
well, reading the actual posts are what it's all about. How it's presented/looks is a key factor in awesomeness.

Tippmaster I like these templates too.  I think the best THEME would be the default theme for 1.1 RC1+ its real nice and kicks the default one we have now butt.

yeah, it does. it will make updating old themes quite an agrivating process though.

In a way yea since most buttons were made for the default theme but addint extra buttons would be a breeze.  Also the simplicity of the theme is great and the way it looks its amazing.
