missing checkbox for selecting multiple posts?

Hello, i have noticed that administrators and moderators,except me,doesn't see checkbox for selecting multiple posts in topic...I can't find that option in admin cp,could you maybe point me to location  where I can enable that option?

It's usually a per user thing, as it's the option in Profile > Look and Layout at the bottom for showing quick moderation as checkboxes.

There is a way in the bowels of the admin panel to reset that, from Admin > Configuration > Themes and Layout > Member Options but it's not the easiest of things to use.

thank you,I would never look under theme option,I thought it was under permission segment...
