Forum Broken

Getting this error:
Connection Problems

Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

The server isn't busy. Also there are only usually two or three people on the forum at once.

Any ideas as to where I start?

Either you have incorrectly configured your settings or your host has a problem.
If it is intermittent, then it is a host issue... Talk to them.

Host (Godaddy) says nothing wrong on their side. It happened all of a sudden. I didn't make any changes to my forum.

First rule: GoDaddy always say there's nothing wrong at their end 

If it happened suddenly and you didn't change anything then there's a very good chance GD did...

It probably is on their side. Keep on'em and maybe they will do something about it.
