Is there a mod to display Author's Username on Display Template?

So I was working on my Display template and I wanted to add an author under the title

I tried many ways but can't find a solution

I went on messageindex template and copied this code to my display template

But nothing happened.

A mod was created before but it disappeared. Here's the link
