Maximum size in pixels for shown attachments?

Is it possible to set a maximum size in pixels (width and height) for images to be shown, with pics beyond this threshold being resized?

Are you talking the thumbnail image or the actual image when the attachment is clicked?

I've set the attachment to show completely without clicking. Maximum size per attachment is 200KB. If people would post pictures close to 200KB but with little detail, I figure these pictures will not fit completely in the screen. That's why I thought that maybe allowing a maximum size of, say, 500x900 pixels would be good, with pictures larger than that showing only as small pics until you click them. Not a huge issue though.

So, you're talking about images posted in [IMG][/IMG] tags, yes?
