ok, so maybe go to this board and try to find this topic?


It's not there, I guess it's waiting for approval? If yes, then topic should not be visible for regular members.

The last approved message in a board is stored in the board's row. The last message in that board was posted by a moderator that can approve posts - therefore the message is approved, even though the topic itself is not.

But since the last message was approved, it gets updated as the board's last topic.

Not sure the alternative is significantly better.

When a topic is posted and not approved and someone replies where the reply does get approved it shows up in the board index.
I've unapproved my reply for now, that should fix it.
