Allow board creation but not category access

Currently i am the only one who can create a board because i can not let anyone else have the permissions because they will be able to access all categories and boards they are not currently allowed.

In summary I want a person to be able to create boards in a defined area/category.

Is there a simply solution i have not realised or is this impossible please?

If you're asking if you can give permission for someone to create boards, but only in one category, then, no. It's "All or nothing", with that.

Unless there's a mod... But, if there is, I don't remember seeing it. That, of course, doesn't mean that such a mod doesn't exist.

There is no mod for this, and doing it is a complete nightmare anyway.

Better question: what is the need for non-admins to create boards? For blogs perhaps?
