wanted, Private Board, moderator inviting own members to their forum

Hi, thank you in advance for reading this issue I'm having.  I have tried for a while, to no avail, to figure this out.

So, I want to give a few of my members their own private boards.

Ideally, I, as the overall forum admin don't want to be contacted every time a member would be added or deleted to each board's membergroup.

Does anyone know if this is possible without a completely custom coded solution?

We definitely do not want the invitation model, where people can invite themselves to forums.

You could always make the owner a group moderator and they should be able to control who can enter/leave that group (bear in mind you could make it a requestable group where a user can ask to be added to that group, if that makes sense)

It's not something especially suited to being done in SMF, to be honest...
