Emailing inactive users

Is there a way to get around places like Gmail bouncing these back as spam? I have members that have been inactive for a while and I want to contact them but gmail bounces most of them back.

not really... the bounces happen on the gmail side, not on anything you can control...
it would seem that your site may have been black listed...

Gmail's spam filter is a bit more sensitive when you send out bulk mail and one of my admins did it even though I told her not to. That is what triggered it. When she was sending them out one by one, they weren't being bounced.

I have sent in a report to Gmail hopefully they will resolve it.
