Hello. Sorry for my bad English.

I had a version 1.1.8 and I transferred the domain and I've done a large upgrade to 2.0.8

My url is http://foropaulownia.com [nofollow]

I have no mods or anything like that. Only a theme (Veterans day), but the problem is the same in Core and Default.

Before, the photos were good. I have a rather old copy of the version 1.1.8 running in a folder on another server, in http://www.manueltrigo.com/paulownias/index.php?topic=365.0 [nofollow] (I leave the link to one of the post with photos)

In another folder on this server I did tests for upgrading to 2.0.8: http://manueltrigo.com/paulownias2/index.php?topic=365.0 [nofollow] (post)

Now they are not. I copy everything on the new server (http://foropaulownia.com [nofollow]) and same thing happens.

I copied the folder attachements of the bakup I did before closing my previous hosting and put it on the new server, respecting the index.php which had been created during the new installation and a file .httacces

I've tried to repair from the settings on the Forum, but nothing.

Yesterday has posted a user and your new photo Yes sale: http://foropaulownia.com/index.php?topic=473.0 [nofollow] I have seen the differences in database: the new, created with version 2.0.8 have file_hash field filling with what appears in the name of the photo at the end: 417_foto13_jpg_thumb17ec77dc9e1d550ba25832a2b69a8617. I've tried to put that code by hand in the database and nothing (anyway, are more than 600 photos to do it by hand), in addition, in Forum old does not appear the file_hash in the BD and I can see the photos there. The photos are OK, because in my computer, if renamed them to .jpg and I can see them good.

Any idea to reactivate them?

Thank you.

Curious about your attachment settings. On this page on your site (put your domain in front):
index.php?action=admin;area=manageattachments;sa=attachments

I suspect this is the standard issue with Photoshop images in 2.0.x...   There were some security checks added between 1.1.8 and 2.0.8 and those might interfere with some older images from 1.1.x

Interesting results. I happened to have Firebug open this time. Looks to me like your attachments aren't on your test site:

I am getting a 404. I saw the attachments and figured it was something else, but it appears your attachments simply aren't there, thusly, no thumbnails (or viewable images).

Maybe, but I thing not all photos are edited with Photoshop. Probably the most of photos are original files.

It is just the problem. The files in attachements folder has names like this: 417_foto13_jpg_thumb17ec77dc9e1d550ba25832a2b69a8617 but if I rename this photos in my computer to .jpg (417_foto13.jpg), then I can see the photograph (or the thumbnail) perfectly.

All the photos in attachements folder are good, but their names are codified. The problem is the new versión of SMF can't undersatand the old code system, only the code system of the newer photographs.

Any idea?
Thanks once more time.

I get the bakcup using the CPanel of the old server. Two bakcups, one of de data base and other of all the files in my web space (the folders and files of SMF, including attachments folder). Other files is good, why only attachments folders is wrong? But it isn't wrong, because if rename a file to.jpg, I can see the photo.
I used Filezilla to upload attachement folder.

Ah... That is your problem.

Because smf removes the file extension for security reasons, FileZilla does not recognize the file type and uses the wrong method of transfer...

It wasn't enough, then I force BINARY and my forum are working well in Crhome, but not in IExplorer. IExplorer don't shows thumbnails, but if click in them, you can see the photo in a new window or offer see, save or cancel. If click in see (I don't know how is in english: see? watch? look?), it opens the window with the photo.

It's getting very confusing cross posting Spanish into an English topic.  Crossposting the same topic is also not usually allowed when answers are being given in the language board, in this case the Spanish board.  For that reason I'm locking this topic.  If you cannot resolve your problem from the help you receive n the Spanish board, then you can ask for this topic to be unlocked :).
