Cannont Send out Mass Newsletter

I am running smf version 1.1.19

Trying to send out a mass newsletter.  Ive never had an issue in the past, but now when I click send the program starts thinking (in the past it would start a count down in what I would assume was sending out newletters to a specific number of users, and then start a new count down.  Over and over until all users would get the newsletter).
Now it just times out and I get this error code

Error while sending QUERY packet. PID=1426

Any suggestions

Have a word with your host.

I'd guess that some queries (for whatever reason) are, probably, taking much more time than usual. Maybe they changed something? Or, perhaps, put restrictions on the number of mails that can be sent?
