Vertical Google AdSense Banner Not Always Displaying

I'm having an issue with the displaying of vertical Google AdSense banners. I wanted to display three 160 X 600 banners down the right side of the forum page. My SMF forum uses SimplePortal so I created a block for the right side where the banners will display. I tested this all as Admin, setting the block to only show to the Admin. Got everything to work the way I wanted and changed the block so it would now show to Admin and Guests. On my forum, Guests see a lot more ads than Members see and these vertical banners are meant to be seen only by guests (this is an incentive for people to register "see fewer ads").

Viewing as Admin, everything looks fine, three vertical Google AdSense banners. But when I go to the site in Guest mode (from the same and from different computers/browsers), only one vertical  Google AdSense banner displays, although the other two appear to be there, they are just blank (see example below). I then set the block to be viewable to members as a test and that worked as it should. But it still won't show properly to Guests.

Any thoughts as to what may be happening?

Guests Google AdSense Example

Example of how the vertical Google AdSense banners appear to a Guest. The area has been highlighted so the missing banners can be seen.

Members Google AdSense Example

Admin Google AdSense Example

Mind providing a link to your site? That will help us investigate this issue. :)

Check each blocks permissions is allowing guest view. Disable the first block that shows and see if the second shows instead.

You may get more help over on simpleportals support thread as others have likely had similar issues.

Other than the above, IMO please note that Google Adsense banner's not always displaying is normal. As provided in the tool for it, you can add link to other ad if Google Adsense banner is not displaying.

It's just one block which displays all three banners. The permission on the block is set to GUEST. I've also posted the same issue over on SimplePortal.

I would think it was just some issue with Google Ads but the fact that it works in every orientation but one. I viewed and compared the code from that section for both Admin (with Admin selected in the permissions) and Guest. Both are the same.

This is that code from the "View Page Source"

Try one Ad per block so 3 ads is 3 blocks in that orientation. The code appears ok so it may be an issue with the portal in that configuration.

Testing as separate entities would eliminate that. When I use Google ads on my sites I stick to one per block always no matter how its arranged.

Apparently there is a limit to the number of Google Ads per page. Just found this on the AdSence site:

I was going to look back over the page but you removed the link. Just sign up to Amazon affiliates and have a self serving ad based on the forums niche and let that generate income in the empty slot.

Links are still active.

Sorry must have overlooked them,my mistake.

The other option is Bing ads then you can fill each slot without fear of going over the limits. Im sure though adblocks total used to be four but I may be wrong or they may have changed it.  Bottom line is if you want to exceed Googles limits then you need a second program running.

Thanks, I'll have to review the User Agreement for both Google AdSense and Bing Ads to make sure they don't conflict.

Ive used Google, Bing and Amazon for years no issues.  I dont think they can stop you anyway or it would infringe fair competition laws. Mostly its illegal and porn content they dont like associated with them.
