How do I delete all of my forum mebers at one time.

Hi, I set this up and had to go to work and when I finally had time to sit back down I had 8600 pages of memebers, how can I delete tham all at one time in lieu of ne page at a time.

This mod should help you a lot usually http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=3104 but in your case I suggest you to just reinstall smf in a new database table since the number of members is to delete is too high even for that mod. Easier way would be to go to Admin - Forum Maintenance - Members - Remove Inactive Members set it to "Remove all members who have not Logged in for 1 days"  then select remove now

this will remove all members who havent logged in on that day removing the mass amount ... then it will make it easier and quicker to remove the remaining through Admin - Members - select all then delete selected members

Ninja's way from what I see by the mod you would have to remove each page and doesnt really make it easier to delete just gives more options :/

Except bots keep logging in to spam... That's why I suggested to reinstall smf from scratch, it will take 5 minutes against *MANY* more of cleaning... The mod was just to let him know that there is a way to do that but not so fast for 8500 pages of "members" (wow anyway, that's MUCH).

Database > members > select all and then delete

That would also delete his admin account.

and would have other, unintended, effects since it would not perform any of the other "delete member clean up actions" that the system does when you delete them CORRECTLY through the admin interface.

And that's basically the reason why we all avoided to say that if they have spammed posts the posts would not be removed that way. And that can break things...

...the same day the forum was created !? Jeez, the spambots are effective  

Now, get the verification questions up'n'going (and\or set registration disabled \ admin approval until ready to launch forum).
