Guests & Regular Members Visible Board

The relationship between "permissions" and groups is apparently too difficult for me to understand.   
 
Simply put, what do I need to change to show guests & "regular" members only the boards that I want them to see? 
 
Our site is paid membership and I only want guests and unpaid members to see a very limited set of boards.

Since they brought in "Permissions profiles", this sort of thing does my head in, too.

Board visibility is nothing to do with permissions.

You configure which groups can see a board from the board's configuration area.

For boards that only premium members should see, untick all the others.

k@ - once again, you have confused board permissions with board visibility...

the link you gave is to board/permission profiles and has nothing at all to do with whether a group can or can not see the board in the first place.
