Need help to upgrade

Hi all I have SMF 2.0.8 forum installed.

soon SMF 2.0.9 is coming.

But I ask some advance question in my mind related this upgrade. I read upgrade wiki.

I have lots of themes and mod installed in my forum.

my question is when I make upgrade SMF 2.0.8 to SMF 2.0.9 will I reinstall those themes and mods again or it's just not effect.
