Fresh install of 2.0.9 - Theme paths & IP address all incorrect

I'm doing a fresh install of SMF 2.0.9 on Ubuntu Linux 14.04LTS & I'm having an issue with (at least) themes. The install works fine, but when I go to log into the system all of the themes don't work. Upon investigation, there are two problems I've found:
-The theme URL always starts out as: hxxp:127.0.0.1 [nonactive] instead of either the IP address of the server or the FQDN of the server/install
-The folder for the themes always starts out as /smf/Themes regardless of what directory I use for the install.

I've manually gone in and fixed both the IP and folder location and SMF appears to be working. I'm worried that there might be other hidden "folder gotchas" outside of Themes. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix other than what I did?

We're looking to put this server into production ASAP.

Use repair settings from the forum URL.

You probably installed SMF in local mode (thus the 127.0.0.1)

Are you using PHP 5.5?
