Yesterday I thought that this was not really a big issue for me since less than 10% use IE. However, I realized that this represents about 1000 person.

What causes this problem?

We were actually planning to add support for IE11 in 2.0.8, but upon further testing, we discovered that it's not simply a matter of making SMF recognize IE11. Even when we do that, the editor code simply wouldn't work properly in IE11 for some unknown reason. We decided it would be better to focus our development efforts on 2.1 than to spend time trying to make the editor work with one particular browser that only a small portion of our users will be using - especially when there are other options out there for those users.
