Question about Unavailable forums

Hello everybody.

When trying to access my forum I get this message in the browser:

Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

It has been unavailable fro 80mins non stop now.
I managed to back up the database which would indicate it is available but last time it was 15Mb this time just 3MB!

I have raised a support ticket with my host but as in the past they have been pretty much useless!

Any ideas anyone?

That's your MySQL server being unavailable, a server issue of course.

Once you get your database back (not the backup you have now, of course ) it's time to knock on other door
