Quotes don't care about enters.

It displays at my forum like this:

The quote tags at my forum ignore the enters. It doesn't ignore the enter tags when I put a [br] tag.

In my experience, Tapatalk has caused issues in the past, though it was a long time ago. Anything which affects posting can cause problems with the editor so I would try uninstalling the BBCode mods first to see if that fixes the problem.

Just out of interest, I'm putting a couple of quotes here to see what happens.

It would seem that your forum is displaying the same way as here, with no space between the quotes but you feel it should produce a line space between them yes?

Or do you mean that the shaded area continues to the end of the width of the post?

what it does is collapse empty <cr><lf> lines...
(which is completely correct, by my belief - if you want an empty line, clarify with an actual line break or a nbsp;<cr><lf>)
