SMF Raid planner?

We previously had a clan raid planner over att Shivtr.com and it was great. Now we are moving to our new forums to a SMF 2 plattform to get more functionality.

But it seem to lack a proper way the create events in the calendar that members can sign up to. Like a raid planner.

I have tried out http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=3238 and http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2024 but to be completly honest they didn't seem to work. The event ended up in the calendar, but only the event appeared, no 'register' button or anything...
