Aaaagh! Help! SMF install has screwed my phpBB

I wanted to test an SMF board while still running my phpBB with a view to moving it all to SMF. My webhost said I could run two forums in one database, but since installing the SMF (which worked fine) the phpBB now returns a 'phpBB : Critical Error. Could not connect to the database'.

Is there anyway of uninstalling SMF or getting my phpBB back up and running?!

Ignore me... looks like I changed the password for the database user, just adjusted it in my config file for the phpBB and it works again. Pleasantly surprised with myself, I thought I was an idiot...
