I got a complaint from a user, because he could not use the paste option in the editor, when using the right mouse button.

Now he wanted to paste this:
Quote1.     L. Hamilton    Mercedes    01:43.476    31
2.     N. Rosberg    Mercedes    01:43.609    30
3.     F. Alonso    Ferrari    01:45.184    21
4.     S. Vettel    Red Bull    01:45.334    29
5.     D. Ricciardo    Red Bull    01:45.361    22
etc.
But the "paste" option on the right mouse button was not present.
He could paste the text but he had to use Ctrl-V but this had the annoying effect that all text would appear all after each other like this:
Quote1Lewis HamiltonMercedes1:39:02.6192Felipe MassaWilliams+2.5003Valtteri BottasWilliams+28.8004Daniel RicciardoRed Bull+37.2005Jenson ButtonMcLaren+1:00.3006Nico HulkenbergForce India+1:02.1007Sergio PerezForce India+1:11.0008Sebastian VettelRed Bull+1:12.0009Fernando AlonsoFerrari+1:25.80010Kimi RäikkönenFerrari+1:27.80011Kevin MagnussenMcLaren+1:30.30012Jean-Eric VergneToro Rosso+1:31.90013Romain GrosjeanLotus+1 ronde14Nico RosbergMercedes+1 ronde15Esteban GutierrezSauber+1 ronde16Adrian

Strange thing was that I as an admin, did not have any problems with this.
So I made a testaccount, made that account user, and even global moderator and indeed.... on right mouse butten the "paste" options was gone.

So I had a look how it would be after disabling the WYSIWYG editor and that fixed everything.
After disabling the WYSIWYG editor, the "paste" option was back again and text was place below each other like should be.

Why is copy and paste not working normally in the WYSIWYG editor?

Dunno if this is official. But, what IS official, is that the WYSIWYG editor is as buggy as an apiary.

Might be best to turn it off, to be frank.

This is there because its NOT an real WYSIWYG editor as most of us know (TinyMCE, CKEditor, SCEditor and so on) , and yes its as buggy as hell in 2.0 installations ...
Always turn it off when you don't need that ;)

Oke I'm glad to hear it's indeed a known problem and not fixed. I have already turned it off, so we will leave in turned off.

Thank you for the quick answers!
