How can a member of a forum remove defamatory content in a forum?

margarett

It depends. On a bunch of factors, actually ;)

* If these are random posts by random users, manually deleting the posts and maybe baning the user might be a good idea
* If the posts are from the same small group of users, maybe deleting their account. When you do so, you are offered the chance to remove all their posts
* If it's spam, you should prevent it from happening again --> http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Spam_-_my_forum_is_flooded_with_spam,_what_can_I_do (do note that this doesn't apply to human-generated content, like it seems to be the case here....)
Se forem conduzir, não bebam. Se forem beber... CHAMEM-ME!!!! :D

If you're a member of such a forum, rather than it's admin, use the "Report to Moderator" link.

Welcome back, Bruno! :)
