Ways to Move best Forum

Hello everybody.
I am not moving my board from one host to another. It's on the same host, but moving to a different domain. I've read the literature on moving from one host to another and that's not what I need.

As of right now, all of the files have been uploaded to the new domain. Because I'm on the same host, I don't need to import the databases, which means that the only thing left to do is to change the paths.

Problem is, I don't know which files I should be working with to change those paths.

Can somebody tell me what I'm editing, in plain English, since this is the first time I'm doing this? I'm hoping to accomplish this within the next couple of hours, if possible.

Moving domains is, essentially, exactly the same as moving hosts.

take a look at What is repair_settings.php?

if the domain is on your same hosting package then you dont need to move the database, if it is on another hosting account you may need to move it.
