Remove PM Pop-up alert?

Is there any mod or setting  that will remove the pop-up alert when new messages are received?

you can disable it in your profile. some actually find it useful so i would not recommend removing it completely.

If it is in the profile, you should find the same in the theme settings (member options) for admin. Yet, the users can still enable it themselves, if they know and want to.

Agreed. If it weren't for the pop-up, most of the time I wouldn't realize I have a pm waiting.
