Forum Header & Alignment Issues

Hello, everyone. I'm having an issue with the top of my forum, the news/newsletters seem to be misaligned on the top of the forum and overlapping avatars, and avatars are cut off. I recently changed themes and i'm still somewhat new to smf so forgive me if this is a simple fix, lol.

Here's an example, you can see the cutting of the avatar and the misalignment of the news section:

Which thme are you using? I'm guessing the theme wasn't designed to cope with images that big.

I'm using the theme "Insidious" by KnownBB.

Your header area is 140px high, the user area is 100px high with a 30px padding, not leaving quite enough room (only 10px) for the news area to fit properly. I am guessing that increasing the header height may help. Reducing the user area padding to 20px may help as well.
