SMF options question

Hey Guys and Gals,

I have been away from SMF and websites for 8-10 years or so and need some information.

I have installed SMF 2.0.9 and it installed great and working fine.

There is an option in SMF under Admin, Main, Package Manager and options.
There are settings for the following:
FTP Server:
Port:
Username:   

My question is what do I put in those sections?
It does not ask for FTP password  so I was unsure of what if anything should I put in those sections.
I know I made several ftp accounts on my server and i know the username of the ftp accounts.
So I guess server is my sites domain, and port is listed as well in my sevrer info so is user name.
But doesn't an FTP require a password?

Please let me know.

You will be asked for a password if and when the system needs it.

As for the FTP server... Usually, that is ftp.yourserver.com
The username would be whatever FTP account has access to your forum directory.

Port is typically 21...
