Is there somewhere interactive I can go to learn things like Joins and things in MySQL? I've been reading tutorials and all sorts of documentation and examples and I just can't seem to get it...I think I need something a little more hands on and explanatory in extremely simple terms. Somewhere where I get it explained and have to write it myself maybe? Maybe even a video where it's explained vry simply and I can just watch it and cotton wool one of my ears so it stays in there? ha ha

And don't show me that damn image about joins, that doesn't help me lol :P.

Not sure if you have tried here, I use it for ideas. ;) http://www.w3schools.com/

I've already been there, and it's not interactive. I need to take this away from documentation.

I have a book, I want something interactive and I can't afford a teacher :(.

The way I learned it was by reading a book that happened to be super easy to follow, then trying out all the examples. Trying each one is important, because it helps with both understanding and memorization.

This may be helpful to you for testing out stuff.

And here's the book I have, in case you're interested.

Also, CodeSchool is coming out with a "Try SQL" course soon. That may be worth trying out when it's ready.
