The forum has been working fine, until i just tried to go there and got this error?

And then clicking on the home button take me to a 500 (Internal Server) Error screen?

This is a configuration issue and can either occur due to a problem with configuration/communication or if it has specifically set to read only, as Illori said, only your host can resolve this.

If you host the MySQL server yourself, have a look in the .ini or .cfg file in the lib directory of where MySQL exists on your server for the read-only setting.
