how to edit member search options?

  Was wondering how we can edit the member search options to include options such as e-mail and phone number?

Sorry, it seems we missed this topic...

Email address is always available to search. Phone is not a "standard" field.
If you create a custom profile field, there is an option "Searchable" in it. That only works in text fields
