The upgrade seemed to be zooming along effortlessly then I received the following fatal error:

Notice: Undefined index: ucwords in /home/content/54/6675254/html/cckf/Sources/Load.php on line 2070

Fatal error: Function name must be a string in /home/content/54/6675254/html/cckf/Sources/Load.php on line 2070

Upgrading from 1.1.11 to 2.0.9 - yes, we are well overdue

Bigguy

What mods did you have installed before the upgrade. ??

I found this thread and got through the upgrade process. http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=518510.msg3668987#msg3668987

Now its stuck in maintenance mode message to users and doesn't give me a login.

I had the following mods:
Mod Name   Version
1.   Ad Managment   2.3.6.1
2.   Aeva Media   1.4
3.   Login Security   1.0.2.2
4.   Stop Spammer   2.3.9
5.   notCaptcha   1.06.1

You will have to open Settings.php file and change that manually to get it out of that particular type of maintenance mode. Glad ya got through it though.

How to Set Maintenance Mode without Logging into the Forum

Log in to your forum's control panel.
    Go to your file manager.
Find the directory that your forum's files are in. This could be public_html, www, or several other places, depending on your host.
Find the file Settings.php and make a back-up copy of it, just in case you make a mistake while editing it.
Open the file Settings.php for editing.
Find $maintenance in the file. Here are the settings you can use:
        $maintenance = 0; - Maintenance mode is turned off.
        $maintenance = 1; - Maintenance mode is turned on.
$maintenance = 2; - Anyone (including administrators) trying to access the forum will only see a white page. Maintenance mode is enabled in full force. This mode cannot be enabled from the administration center.
    Save the file.

It explains most of that at the top of the Settings.php file. I guess I should have mentioned that. Thanks Burke for posting. :)

Thank you both for the quick and helpful replies - I'm in.  Lots to do to get rid of the custom theme I had and move to a more standard looking forum.

You guys rock!

Bigguy

We'll mark this solved for ya and glad ya got it worked out. :)
