Excluding comments shown in RSS feeds

Hi all, I am using the SMF RSS feeds for a certain board, but I am noticing that comments are also being fed. How can I only have the topics, and exclude the comments?

What is the URL you're using. If you use sa=news, it should give you just the first post in each topic
