I'm on 2.0.6. I know I haven't kept up on things, but every time I've upgraded before, I've been able to do it through the Admin panel. I don't see that option anymore. Has it been moved? Is there still a way to upgrade through there? (Since I don't know how to do it manually.)

Thanks,
Caat

Thanks for that link, but it states "When you enter SMF's Administration Center if a patch has been released you will be notified through a box "Update Available!". Selecting the link present in this box will automatically download the patch from the Simple Machines website and will bring you to the package manager." However, I am not seeing an "update available' link where it always has been before.

Any ideas?

Try going back into admin>>Maintenance>>Scheduled tasks. Then where you see "Fetch Simple Machines Files", check the "run now" box and then click the run now tab below.

That should bring up the latest security patch updates when you go to the browse packages tab in the package manager section.

If not, she could go here and get the upgrades she needs, right?

Do it step by step i.e. 2.0.6 to 2.0.7 then to 2.0.8 etc. but remember .......

Backup! Backup! Backup before you start anything.

Yup, that'll work as well. I always forget about that option. ;)
