Forum crashed unexpectedly, how to fix it?

Just now my forum crashed unexpectedly, showing a blank page, is there any way to get it back to normal? It was working until I was testing a mod.

A white page is usually a PHP error. Check your server logs
You can also ask your host if they changed something on their end.

How do I check the server logs if the page is all blank and white?

It was the installed Better_Profile_Menu_v1.9 mod. After that, it caused a PHP error in my forum.

There's a problem with that mod (I've notified the author). If you have ftp access, delete the file under Sources called 'Subs-BetterProfileMenu.php' ... that's what I had to do when mine did the same thing installing that mod version.

The mod has been corrected and can be safely installed now. Just re-download it.

How do I access the ftp server and what is the host name and file path? Just checking
