For the life of me, I can't find the 'show' code line for the Community...

... menu bar button.  I've been looking through lots of posts and tried all kinds of searches, but I can't find the menu array in subs.php for the Community button on the menu bar - I'd like to hide or remove the Community main menu button.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

It is the button right after the "Home" button in the main top menu bar - the sequence of buttons in my menu bar is Home - Community - Help - Search, etc.

Are you sure a mod hasn't added the button? It is not there by default. Check your installed mods over at Admin > Package Manager.

Usually portal mods install a secondary Forum or Community button.

Man, you hit the nail on the head - am using PortaMx and found the hooks in PortaMxIntegrate.php - problem solved
