Please help

Hey folks, today I downloaded a theme "Apollobb" and installed it, but I had no Admin controls so I couldn't go back to the original default curve theme, I went to my host account on godaddy and did a restore to an earlier date, after the restore I get this text and nothing else "Unable to load the 'main_above' template" now I have no way of getting into my forums? I'm a total noob so any help or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

For one thing, you need to read descriptions before downloading/installing mods and themes. If all else fails, inquire in the forums before installing items. The Apollobb theme has not been updated since 1.1.4, many versions (sever years) ago and could have possibly been the initial cause of your problems.
Also, restoring/updating through GoDaddy is never recommended. For some reason it rarely works and then you end up exactly where you are now.

Can you get there if you type this into your address bar?

http://www.example.com/index.php?theme=1

And/or

http://www.example.com/index.php?action=profile;area=theme

Or

http://www.example.com/index.php?action=admin;area=theme;sa=admin;

Changing 'example' to your domain name of course.

Also, when titling your support requests, try to make them a little more descriptive of the problem as people tend to skip over ones titled like this.

try using What is repair_settings.php? and resetting to the default theme.

Which means that you have one of those idiotic "security" add-ons in wordpress and THAT is preventing your from doing things.

WordPress is stupid - it assumes that you are only running wordpress and intercepts many valid calls to other softwares

Thanks guys, fortunately godaddy went into the back up and restored my data, all good.
