Upgrading from 1.0 beta 5 to 1.1 RC1

Hi,

I try to upgrade from 1.0 beta 5 to 1.1 RC1, so I downloaded the package :
smf_1-1-rc1_upgrade.tar.gz

and I run the upgrade.php file :

Well, all seems to be OK, but for example, I don't have a table "smf_sessions" !!!
So, does I run the good package ?
Is it necessary to install 1.0.5 before 1.1 ?  (yes, I know it's stupid...)

Well, I have an idea for my problem...

I think the installer can't know what version of SMF I have because I changed it in the past.
In the table smf_settings, for the field smfVersion, it was certainly something like that :
"1.0 beta5", and I changed it to "SMF"... so what was the value of this field exactly for 1.0 beta 5 ?

I downloaded the old package "smf_1-0-beta5p_install.zip", and I saw in the SQL that the value of this field was "1.0 Beta 5 Public"...

Now, I cross my fingers that was the problem !
