Username Colours Boardwide (2.0.9)

Hi there, first of all, allow me to apologise if this is in the wrong board!

I'm looking for a modification whereby username colours are shown boardwide. They currently only show up in the "Who's online" list, however I would love them to appear within posts etc. I've found a number of mods that do this trick, however none of them are supported with SMF 2.0.9; the software that we're currently using.
