Code highlighting

I'm looking for a mod to do code highlighting and I found one. http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=3070

Buit, I've also found this rather strange observation that GeShi does not permit SMF distribution? http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=290024.msg1908367#msg1908367

Can someone clarify this or am I simply barking up the wrong tree?

Its better now I think that SMF 2.0.x is bsd based.

Do note...  questions regarding specific mods really should be asked in the topic dedicated to supporting that mod.  They'd have the best answers there...

Thank you for moving the topic. I didn't think I was asking about the mod per se, I was more asking a general question on whether anyone had knowledge why the second link in my OP would have made that statement.
