Restrict visibility of spiders to registered users

Under Administration Center » Search Engines » Settings if I select Show spider names or Show spider quantity these become visible to everybody (guests included).

Could anybody please tell me what file(s) and code I would need to modify (and how to do it) so as to restrict the visibility to registered users only.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

first question is... why?

you could just remove the permission for guests to even see the who's online page
(that would remove the access to action=who)

but if you really feel that you need to mess around with the list on the homepage, then it's in boardindex.template.php

Unfortunately I have tried many things but have not been successful. I would appreciate any suggestions.
